J. Wakefield Brewing May Update including Star Wars Day!

J. Wakefield Brewing (JWB) celebrates Star Wars Day like only they can, and releases two specialty cans to kick off the month.

JWB once again hosts the ultimate May the 4th celebration by offering a full range of Star Wars-themed specialty draughts, a cosplay special, t shirts, music by DJ Popeye and, of course, the Star Wars saga playing on the big screen, in rotation, all day long.

Specialty Draughts (subject to change):

-Battle of Hoth: Ice cream sandwich imperial stout (15.5% ABV)
-BB8: Northeast style tang IPA (6 ABV)
-Cantina Mixer: Pineapple and coconut Northeast style IPA (6.5% ABV)
-Corellian Ale: Berliner with guava, dragon fruit and oranges (7% ABV)
-Let The Wookie Win: Imperial stout (13% ABV)
-Yoda's Skid Marks: Mint chocolate chip brown ale (6.8%)
-You're My Only Hope: Imperial strawberry chocolate blonde (9.5%)
-These Are The Droids You're Looking For: Neapolitan imperial stout (15.5%)

Cosplay Special: Guests dressed in Star Wars costumes will receive $1 off all draughts. Food Truck: Mr. PB&J (4 p.m.-11p.m.)

Beer Releases

The following four beers will be available for sale in the taproom on Monday, May 1st.

Frank White: Northeast-style India pale ale with pineapple added (6.5% ABV) Four-packs of 16-ounce cans. $18 plus tax

Slammin’ Bones: Northeast-style India pale ale (6.5% ABV) Four-packs of 16-ounce cans. $16 plus tax

Three Brass Tap locations will be hosting JWB spotlights to celebrate May the 4th.
The lineup will consist of JWB standards: El Jefe, Amber Waves and Hops 4 Teacher IPA, and two Star Wars-themed beers: Yoda's IPA and Fruits Of Betrayal IPA.
