J. Wakefield Brewing Beer Release And June Events

The return of Big Poppa, three other great collaborations and three great in-market events highlight a busy June at J. Wakefield Brewing.

Big Poppa: Imperial stout with Mostra coffee, coconut and vanilla. A collaboration with Abnormal Beer Company (San Diego), Mostra Coffee (San Diego) and Illest. 16% ABV, 750ml bottles, $25 plus tax each. Limit: Two bottles per person.

Boss Tycoon: Imperial stout with honey, macadamia nuts, coconut, vanilla, cocoa nibs, coffee, and marshmallows. A collaboration with Horus Aged Ales (Oceanside, California).14% ABV, 750ml bottles, $25 plus tax each. Limit: Two bottles per person.

Boutit Boutit: Imperial stout with chocolate and vanilla. A collaboration with Three Chiefs Handcrafted Ales. 17% ABV, 750ml bottles, $25 plus tax each. Limit: Two bottles per person.

6ix Days in Dade: Imperial gose-style ale with fresh peaches, guava and a hint of lactose. A collaboration with Bellwoods Brewery (Toronto, Canada). 6% ABV, 750ml bottles, $25 plus tax each. Limit: Two bottles per person.

Breakfast powered by El Mago de las Fritas starting at 9:00 a.m.

Lunch powered by Purple People Eatery starting at 2:00 p.m.

Free to attend
Laser Wolf will spotlight JWB’s world-class ales. The BeerTimez crew will also be on hand. Scheduled beers (subject to change): El Jefe Hefeweizen with coconut, Hops 4 Teacher Citra dry-hopped IPA, Paan Wala saison with coriander, fennel and mango, Stush Berliner Weisse and Campos de Fresas strawberry blonde ale.

2nd Course: Anthony's coal-fired wings and ribs paired with 24th Street Brown Ale
3rd Course: Eggplant Marino and meatballs paired with Hops 4 Teacher IPA
4th Course: Traditional and specialty coal-fired pizzas paired with Tha Green Monsta New England-style IPA

Union Beer Store in Little Havana will be featuring JWB as part of their popular bottle share series, Bottle Mania. In addition, JWB will be taking over the taps and Tacos and Tattoos will be serving their unique blend of “comfort food for those who love to indulge to satisfy all five senses." Tap list is TBA.
