CELEBRATE NATIONAL TACO DAY AT WYNWOOD KITCHEN & BAR

Global-Latino Taco Special on Thursday, October 4, 2012

In celebration of National Taco Day on Thursday, October 4th, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar (WKB), Miami’s street-art meets Global-Latino dining destination, is offering diners an innovative taco special.

Known for his Latin-inspired menu of small plates, Executive Chef Miguel Aguilar has created the beer-battered mahi mahi taco plate – two crispy corn tortillas filled with Stone IPA beer-battered mahi mahi, house made pico verde, concasse tomatoes, fresh sliced avocados and topped with a chipotle aoli and cotija cheese ($9). Like all dishes at WKB, the taco plate is meant to be mixed and matched with other signature dishes such as the chicken ropa vieja empanadas, fried oysters, pork rillettes and other culinary delights.

Aguilar suggests pairing the tacos with a nice cold Stone IPA beer ($7) or one of the artist-inspired signature cocktails such as the Aiko - Don Julio Reposado, King Ginger liqueur, red and cayenne peppers, simple syrup, fresh lime juice and cucumber ($14).

Open for lunch and dinner, Monday - Saturday. Live music weekly Thursday through Saturday curated by Grammy-winning flautist Nestor Torres. Wynwood Kitchen & Bar is located at 2550 N.W. 2nd Avenue. Ample street parking and valet are available. Reservations suggested. Phone: 305-722-8959. www.wynwoodkitchenandbar.com.
