Oceans 234, in Deerfield Beach will transform their dining room into a twisted carnival for a Halloween celebration taking place on Saturday, October 29th beginning at 8PM.This year’s bash will be bigger and better than ever with passed upscale fair food by newly appointed Executive Chef Brian Cantrell and seasonally-inspired libations concocted by bar master Drew Shane. Guests can enjoy live music, festive games, a mysterious fortune teller and magician. Party-goers are encouraged to join the festivities in their best disguise for a late-night costume contest. Quattro Gastronomia Italiana, the Miami Beach gem in the heart of bustling Lincoln Road, will offer a special four-course, prix fixe dinner on Monday, October 31st. For $110 per person (excluding alcohol, tax and gratuity), guests can people-watch the parade of costumes from one of Quattro’s quaint outdoor tables while enjoying a decadent, multi-course meal. Each table will begin with a stuzzichino of Bruschetta Taleggio, Funghi Tartufati – bruschetta with Truffle Mushroom and Taleggio Cheese. For the antipasti course, Quattro offers a generous selection of hot and cold appetizers, which include a Carpaccio Di Manzo alla Monferrina con Rughetta e Parmigiano Reggiano – thinly sliced raw beef with arugula, lemon dressed, cherry tomatoes and parmesan flakes; Quattro’s signature Parmigiana Di Melanzane In Forma – baked organic eggplant layered with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, tomato sauce, and torn basil; Lenticchie di Norcia con Pomodorini, Cetrioli e Aceto di Barolo – black lentil, cucumber and cherry tomato in red wine vinaigrette served with crispy italian bread as well as a Burrata Con Pomodori Multicolore e Basilica – fresh burrata cheese with multicolored tomatoes, basil oil and crispy bread. Main course options include a seasonal Pumpkin Gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnut sauce; a Risotto Allo Scoglio – carnaroli risotto with shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari and fresh tomatoes; Branzino All’Acqua Pazza – Mediterranean branzino baked, with cherry tomatoes, white wine, Taggiasca olives, and capers; Preparazione Casalinga Dei Ravioli di Casa Savoia Tartufati – fontina ravioli drizzled with white truffle oil; Bistecca alla Griglia con salsa di Porcini Tartufati, Patate e Asparagi – grilled NY strip steak with truffle porcini mushroom sauce, roasted potatoes and asparagus and; Costatine Brasate di Manzo con Pure di Zucca – braised short ribs with pumpkin mash. For a sweet finish, diners can indulge in a Pumpkin and Pecan Pie, a Chocolate Molten Cake and Ice Cream or Quattro’s signature house-made Tiramisu. Priced at $15, Raise your Spirits is a twist on the whiskey sour with fall flavors of apple and baking spices. Recipe Follows: 2 oz. Widow Jane apple wood rye, 1.5 oz. apple cider reduction, 1 oz. ginger syrup, 1 oz. lemon juice, 1/4 oz. allspice dram, 1 egg white and 4 sprays of allspice dram "spirits" mist.
