Guests Dining At Gotham Steak Are Invited To Tantalize Their Taste Buds

During the month of September, guests dining at Gotham Steak in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach are invited to tantalize their taste buds with a special offer on two highly acclaimed bottles of wine: the 2007 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2005 Nickel and Nickel "Vogt Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon.

Typically offered at $165 per bottle, the 2007 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, full-bodied wine with great tannic structure and will be offered at $100 during the month of September. This wine has a garnet color and a nose of ripe boysenberries, cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, sandalwood and a hint of roasting meat. On the palate, it is incredibly rich in umami and has a long, savory finish with the slight grip of fine-grained tannins.

The 2005 Nickel and Nickel "Vogt Vineyard" is 100% Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, and explodes out of the glass with blue and black fruit, underscored with floral and mineral notes. Showing a winning textural depth and sweetness in the enveloping, layered finish, this wine will be offered at a special price of $150.

Under the guidance of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s award-winning sommelier, David Mokha, Gotham Steak Sommeliers Fernando Araiza and Zach Gossard hand select special wines to be offered to diners at a special price each month. This month’s offerings, the 2007 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2005 Nickel and Nickel "Vogt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon perfectly complement the bold multi-layered flavors that have made Gotham Steak such a well-regarded dining destination.
