Grit By Design a multi-artist exhibition and live art experience founded by entrepreneur Anthony Bold and co-founded by artist Eddy Bogaert, will be hosting its first activation December 1 through December 4 during Miami Art Week. Located at the WATR HAUS complex in Wynwood, the multi-day event will feature artists and musicians showcasing unparalleled live performances.
GRIT BY DESIGN™️’s live art installations include artist Brett Loving using an excavator, a paint brush, and a squeegee attached to the excavator’s claws to complete a new canvas on Wednesday, December 1st at 7:30 PM. On Thursday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM, Steve Navarro will exhibit a live painting of a six-foot, life-sized version of the GRIT Anatomy symbol. On Friday, December 3rd at 7:30 PM, artist Eddy Bogaert will complete a signature live painting. Lastly, for the pièce de résistance, graffiti artist D-Snow, whose work is collected by notables including Megan Thee Stallion and Drake, will paint a Lamborghini Aventador suspended in the air while being filmed for an upcoming prime-time docuseries, on Saturday, December 4 at 7:30 PM.
Visual artists participating in Grit By Design include contemporary artist Eddy Bogaert and modern graffiti artist D-Snow, whose work is collected by notables such as Drake, Justin Bieber, and Megan Thee Stallion and. Artist and architectural designer Steve Navarro will also be featured along with Brett Loving who uses modern machinery to create his innovative pieces.
Additional emerging artists include Max Jamali, a mixed media luxury artist with an award-winning background in fashion photography; Clarence James, a D.C. based painter who creates abstract, figurative paintings; Sergio D' Larosa, a multimedia artist whose works showcase the vibrant use of color; Michal Gorfung, a self-taught oil painter; and abstract artists Paddy Cohn whose works reflect her childhood spent in the landscapes of the Caribbean; Miami-based Mohammed whose paintings are designed to promote self-discovery; Mackenzie Spindler aka MIKISPIN who focuses on elevating contemporary art; and Flor Troconis, an adventurous painter whose works have been exhibited across the globe.

Live music will include performances by singer and guitarist Edo Ferragamo, grandson of fashion icon Salvatore Ferragamo; recording artist and lead singer of the rock band Mojave Grey, Zander Bleck; independent artist and producer HUNNIDYARD; and a collection of DJs featuring Miami-based Kristina Max; internationally renowned Bobby Ishak; emerging house music DJ Camilo Trujillo "Milo;" performance artist and singer-songwriter Bouboulena; Miami-based DJ Enzo; producer and DJ Lee Kalt; and New York-based producer DJ Elmo.
GRIT BY DESIGN™️ rests on a set of values such as RISK, TRUTH, INTEGRITY, and FOCUS embodied by every featured artist and creator. Each artist at GRIT BY DESIGN™️ will feature four works of art that align with four values held by the artist when they started their journey and remain with them today.
GRIT BY DESIGN™️ was born one night in Miami when Anthony Bold and Eddy Bogaert met through a mutual friend at a Miami Heat game. Being creators with complementary skill sets, they formed a relationship to create a vibrant experience for Art Basel 2021. On a cocktail napkin, they mapped out values they share, and what an experience showcasing those values would resemble, giving birth to GRIT BY DESIGN™️.
