MIAMI (October 23, 2012) — Goya Foods, America’s largest Hispanic-owned food company, will be the presenting sponsor for one of South Florida’s most popular annual food and wine charity events, the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. The fine dining event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eden Roc Renaissance in Miami Beach.
This year’s extravaganza not only marks the 15th Anniversary of the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction, but Goya’s second year as a presenting sponsor. The event will showcase some of Miami’s top chefs, including Chef Chair Timon Balloo of Miami Midtown’s popular SUGARCANE raw bar grill. Additional chefs who will be participating include the host of the event, Host Chair Paula DaSilva of 1500° at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach, Chef Conor Hanlon of The Dutch at the W South Beach, Chef Miguel Aguilar of Wynwood Kitchen and Bar, and Goya’s very own Executive Chef Fernando Desa.
In addition to the stellar lineup of chefs and their culinary chefs-d'oeuvre, guests to pair their meals with fine wine and champagne tastings from the world’s first-class vineyards and distilleries, courtesy of Southern Wine and Spirits and Diageo. Attendees will be able to participate in exclusive live auctions with all proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes.
