WHO/WHAT: Guests dining at Gotham Steak at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach are invited to take part in a special offer on two highly acclaimed bottles of wines: the 2010 Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto’s Toscana IGT priced at $100 per bottle and the 2009 Clos Apalta by Lapostolle offered at $150.
Typically available at $155 per bottle, the 2010 Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto’s Toscana IGT is, a rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend. This wine has intense red fruit flavor and an elegantly supple texture supported by ripe, silky tannins. The Merlot is expressed in sweet black fruit with overall aromas of ripe, concentrated berries offset by restrained oak notes of spice, vanilla and cedar.
The 2009 Clos Apalta by Lapostolle, usually priced at $190 per bottle, is a deep inky, red wine with a concentrated structure and notes of plums, red cherries, dry figs, blueberries, vanilla, clover and white pepper.
Gotham Steak is also proud to announce that they will be carrying bottles of the highly acclaimed and extremely rare, 2005 Trifecta Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley at $220 a bottle. This wine is distinguished by the very long hang time on the vines, making it incredibly powerful. It has been described as a bold, balanced and elegant wine and is seldom found in restaurants.
