In the happiest of coincidences, Father’s Day and National Martini Day fall on the same day this year. Grab the whole family and celebrate at these South Florida spots.

Louie Bossi’s

There’s nothing more refreshing on a warm summer day than the Italian hotspot’s Cucumber Martini. Made with Bombay gin, fresh cucumber and house-made celery bitters, this is perfect drink to sip while you challenge Dad to a friendly game of Bocce Ball on Louie Bossi’s backyard court.

Big City Tavern

Head over to Big City Tavern and try their fresh new summer cocktails, including the Lychee Martini and Pineapple Martini. Both drinks pair perfectly with Chef Steven Zobel’s new menu, which features delectable dishes like Thai Beef Lettuce Cups and Grilled Mahi Mahi.
Lychee Martini

1 oz Soho Liqueur                                          .

2 oz Tito’s Vodka

1 oz grapefruit juice

Splash of lychee juice

Splash Canton

Shake all Ingredients and pour into martini glass garnished with lychee.


Pineapple Martini

2 oz Skyy Pineapple Vodka

1 ¼ oz Tropical Pineapple Pucker

1 oz OJ

1 ¼ oz Pineapple juice

Shake and Strain, no garnish

City Cellar Wine Bar and Grill

White Cosmopolitan

1.5 oz Ketel One Vodka

1 oz White Cranberry juice

1 oz Lime Juice

.5 oz St- Germain

.25 oz Simple Syrup

1 Orchid Ice Ball

Combine all ingredients together. Shake and strain into carafe. Present with martini glass with orchid ice ball. Pour tableside.

The Continental

Acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr opened The Continental in Miami in 2015, nearly 20 years to the date since the opening of his original martini bar The Continental in Philadelphia.
