One of my fave foodie tours ever. Guide Mirka knows how to guide a diverse group, she is a real foodie herself, and she brings enthusiasm and personal knowledge to every stop. Thanks to her i now have eight charming little places to re-visit on our next trip to South Beach. And a much better appreciation of the unique preserved architecture of South Beach. Great value. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat.

I took this tour with my husband on our first full day in South Beach. Our guide was Meerka (sp?) who was fantastic: very animated, very friendly, and full of knowledgeable enthusiasm for South Beach food and architecture. As well as telling us a bit about the Art Deco buildings we were passing on our tour, she introduced us to several different cuisines and venues. It was all delicious, and we ended up re-visiting several of the venues over the week we stayed in South Beach. She also gave out a list of the restaurants at the end of the tour so you can find them again, and including a few discount coupons which were useful. We highly recommend this tour, and also recommend taking it early in your visit so that you can learn more about the food opportunities that are available to you in this area.

What a great activity! We sampled a wide variety of cuisines, from high end to low end and from appetizers/drinks to desserts/coffee. Plus, as we paraded around SoBe, we learned a bit about the Art Deco buildings. Who knew there was such great food outside of New York?

We loved the South Beach Food Tour and will definitely go again. I had 3 friends in from out of town and it is a great way to sample some of the wonderful South Beach restaurants. The food was excellent, and you get a tour of some of the architecture as well. The pace of the trip was perfect. We didn't feel at all rushed through our food or kept waiting once we arrived at the restaurants. The tour guide was adorable and knowledgeable.

My husband and I have been to Florida before, but never to South Beach. We had only one evening to spend there and we were unsure about where to go and what to do. We both enjoy food/wine tasting, so this tour was the perfect way to spend our evening. Our guide was fantastic and made learning about South Beach a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is new to South Beach and/or who just enjoys deliciious foods.

This was the highlight to our stay in SOBE prior to our Cruise from the Port of Miami. We will do this again and will try some of the other offered tours.

Our tour was on a Monday afternoon. Our group was small so it was very intimate - which I love. Our tour guide was super friendly. There was a vegetarian in the group but that wasn't a problem. We started with some fresh scallops prepared at the Anglers bathed in some special sauce. My boyfriend usually is hesitant towards seafood but he cleaned out the plate faster than me! It was so yummy. Our first two destination totally blew my socks off. I would go back to dine later if I had more time. The chicken empanadas at Charlotte's bakery was to die for and this is the place I would definitely not go in if it weren't for the tour. The tour was informative throughout. So many little tid bits you would never know so it's not just food, they show you places around the area and lobbies of hotels you would never go in. We finished up with bubble tea and gelato. I'm Asian so bubble tea wasn't really a big waw factor but it was still nice & refreshing. A perfect way to end with gelato I thought. They give you a cheat sheet at the end so you would never forget these places. If I had more time I would definitely do the another - Little Havana. I originally wanted to do the evening tour but they don't offer it on weekdays. I'm glad I did the lunch tour it's such a nice walk around. Afterwards we stroll around some more, shopped & hung out by the beach. We used the cheat sheet to get dinner and it wasn't a disappointment - one of the best we had during our stay. They really teach you not to fall into the Ocean Ave hawking. Anyway, if I visit again I would love to do another one (different one of course). The best part is you get to sample different places for what you would have blown your money away in one meal in a random restaurant. Having said that I think the price is reasonable - you have to consider the tour aspect as well (not just the price of food). I had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this to everyone. If I have any suggestions for future I would ask if there are any gluten free tours (I have family members that can't handle gluten). It's always a hassle and a bummer to dine out with this type of handicap... It's very nice to see vegetarian accommodation though, eventhough I am not one. Thank you!
