For two consecutive years (2008,2009), Douglas Rodriguez was nominated for Best Chef:South. Back in this time, he was executive chef at Ola in Miami Beach. Today, he owns D. Rodriguez Cuba on Ocean Drive, which has gained accolades based on its Modern Cuban Cuisine. The restaurant is themed around nightlife in Cuba’s Havana, with a lively and tropical ambiance that is only second to the sustainable and freshly prepared food.
