Sunday brunch is making its way to Devon Seafood + Steak, the new boutique seafood & steakhouse just opened at The Palms at Town & Country Mall in Kendall. Beginning on Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 10 am – 3 pm, the restaurant will launch a weekly buffet-style brunch, featuring a cold seafood display, omelette station, carving station and a wide array of sushi and sashimi crafted by executive chef Scott Barrow.
Priced at $27 per person, $13 for children age 5-12 and complimentary for kids 4 & under, Devon will offer an impressive selection of brunch items including made-to-order Belgian waffles, with choice of strawberry, blueberry or traditional maple syrup; a cold seafood display with delectable ocean fare such as assorted smoked fish, oysters on the half shell and cocktail shrimp with traditional garnishes; a carving station featuring chef’s choice of Nueske’s ham or Prime Rib with horseradish sauce; and a vast omelette station – eggs and omelettes prepared to order. Stand-out entrées will also be offered such as Thai chicken wings, maple glazed Atlantic salmon, shrimp enchiladas and vegetable ragou, among others.
Sushi and sashimi lovers will delight in Devon’s fresh selection of shrimp tempura sushi rolls; Vietnamese crab and vegetarian spring rolls; and char crust ahi tuna served with wakame salad, pickled ginger, wasabi, pickled cucumbers and sweet soy sauce. Desserts include panna cotta, chocolate truffle cake, key lime tart and cinnamon fritters. On the libations front, the restaurant will offer diners’ favorite brunch cocktails at an unbeatable price – the Devon Bloody Mary, mimosas, Bellini’s and a glass of Domaine Ste. Michelle brut champagne at $5 each. Wine bottles under $100 will be sold at half price all day long.
