Work certainly hasn’t slowed for the Concrete Beach brewing team in the three short months since they’ve been brewing in Wynwood. The demand has been high for the Arts District-based brewery, and they recently introduced Tropic of Passion, aConcrete Beach Social Hall favorite, to a limited number of bars and restaurants across Miami-Dade County.
A fast favorite of fans of the brewery, Tropic of Passion is a delicate, coral-tinged wheat ale that showcases the tart and slightly sweet interplay of passion fruit and leaves drinkers with a dry and refreshing finish. It can be found at bars such as Suviche, Pride & Joy BBQ, Wood Tavern, Vegas Burger Bar, Mendez Fuel and Boxelder.
In addition to Tropic of Passion, Concrete Beach’s flagship beers – Rica, a wheat IPA, and Stiltsville, a Miami-style Pilsner – can be found being poured freely from bar and restaurant taps across Miami, such as Finka Table and Tap and The Federal Miami, as well as neighborhood mainstays like Graziano’s in the Gables and Brother Jimmy’s BBQ. Some of the area’s most popular hotels, like the new 1 Hotel South Beach are adding Concrete Beach to their beer menus, meeting guests’ demands for authentic Miami craft beer.
“After spending months preparing the brewery to open, it’s so exciting to see our craft beers go on draft across Miami,” said Jesse Morris, Concrete Beach Social Hall Manager. “I recently ran over to my local watering hole to grab a quick bite and happened to catch a couple enjoying two Stiltsvilles with their lunch and I instantly started grinning from ear to ear. I just love seeing people enjoy our beer, especially with great food.”
Rica and Stiltsville are also available in six-pack bottles in supermarkets and liquor stores across Miami-Dade County, and beginning this month Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Other varieties of Concrete Beach beer, like Concrete Common Lager and Walls South American Red Ale are currently only available on draft at the brewery’s Social Hall on NW 24th Street.
