The Coconut Grove Business Improvement District (BID) and Miami Culinary Tours have joined forces to help showcase The Grove’s evolution into a foodie paradise through half-day food tours on Saturdays starting October 27th.
“The Grove is home to a vibrant culinary scene and there’s no shortage of places to dine al fresco while enjoying flavors from across the globe,” said Nicole Singletary, executive director of the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District (BID). “We are pleased to partner with Miami Culinary Tours to bring more visitors to The Grove and celebrate our neighborhood’s past, present and future.”
The tour will introduce locals and visitors alike to the variety of tastes you can find in the Grove, from Indian and Thai to Cuban, Latin-American fusion and locally-sourced seasonal fare. Along the way, participants will learn about The Grove’s storied history, stroll through tree-lined shopping streets, and discover all that our neighborhood has to offer.
Tastings at the following restaurants are included as part of the tour:
Peacock Garden Bistro
A beautiful garden landscape in the classic “old Miami” style is the setting for this delightful bistro’s outdoor area. The indoor décor is just as charming, but what’s sure to amaze you is your meal!
Saffron at Grove
The renowned restauranteur Mike Hussein brings his expertise to Coconut Grove with a venue that combines modern Miami style with mouthwatering food traditions from India.
With over 700 reviews online, this restaurant’s five-star status is absolutely no coincidence! Taste one of their famous Pisco Sour cocktails and sit at the Ceviche Spoon Bar and try a sampler of all the variety that Jaguar’s kitchen has to offer.
Glass and Vine
Try delicious Jamón serrano croquetas amidst the lush, wild beauty of nature at one of the top restaurants in the neighborhood.
With a dynamic menu emphasizing zero-waste philosophy and fresh ingredients that are sourced locally, Chef Adriana’s creations are as delicious as they are charming.
Atchana’s Homegrown Thai
Herbs and spices sourced from the Florida Redland are expertly blended under the guidance of owner and operator Atchana Capellini. For truly authentic and delicious Thai dishes, there are very few places that can compare to this amazing venue.
Candy cap flan is just some of the deliciously inventive recipes that this team of accomplished chefs are bringing to the table.
