Cinco de Mayo Crawl in Miami On May 5th

Getting ready for Cinco de Mayo? Next Friday, May 5th hit the town and celebrate every tequila-lover’s favorite holiday by taking part in a one-of-a-kind Cinco de Mayo Crawl kicking off at Miami’s authentic Mexican drive, Olla and traveling onto the city’s only true Mezcaleria, El Grito.

At each spot, guests will be treated to an authentic celebration, bringing the streets of Jalisco and all of Mexico to life through creative elements, highlighting the culture and charm of its character and vibrancy. Mi Caza Es Su Caza, will be unlike any other Cinco de Mayo celebration as guests come together and cheers to the victory at the Battle of Puebla with true Mexican-inspired sips, crafted with Tequila Cazadores, 100% blue agave tequila made in the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco.

CINCO DE MAYO CRAWL
5:00-8:00PM at Olla – guests will enjoy Tequila Cazadores drink specials and a live set by DJ YSL
8:00PM on at El Grito – guests will enjoy Tequila Cazadores drink specials, complimentary tacos from 8:00-10:00PM and live music

PRICKLY PEAR & CHILE PIQUIN MARGARITA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

1 ½ oz. Cazadores Blanco
½ oz. Xicaru Blanco
1 oz. Prickly Pear Puree
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz. Agave Nectar
Pinch of Chile Piquin

In a mixing glass add all the ingredients, ice, shake and serve over the rocks with Chile piquin. Garnish with an orange slice and lime and sprinkle Chile piquin salt.


LATINI
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

2 oz. Cazadores Reposado
2 oz. Latini-syrup*
1 oz. fresh lime juice

Latini Syrup Recipe*
3 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
8 Guajillo or New Mexico dried chiles
1 pasila chile
3 slices of orange
3 oz. fresh lime juice

In a sauce pan, boil water, sugar, chile, orange slices for 15 minutes, cool and add lime juice, strain into a glass container. Keep refrigerated. Shake together all ingredients with ice and serve up with a Tajin rimmed martini glass.


PALOMA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

2 oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco
1 oz. fresh lime juice
4 oz. Squirt

Add all ingredients into a salted rocks glass filled with ice. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge.


BLOODY MARIA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
4.5. oz. Chipotle Maria Mix*

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. NO ice and shake vigorously. Serve into a large tumbler filled with ice, and present with olives, celery, sal de gusano rim and jicama.

Mix*
32 oz. tomato juice
6 oz. Chipotle mix**
Pinch of salt
6 oz. Worcestershire sauce
6 oz. lime juice
Tea spoon of black pepper
Tea celery salt
½ oz. Oregano powder
2 tea spoons of Tajin
Garnish with Jicama

Chipotle mix**
1 – 8oz. can of chipotle chiles
2 cups of orange juice
Add both ingredients in a blender
blend for 30 seconds
Chipotle sauce will be ready to use


PICANTE MARGARITA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

1 ½ Part. Cazadores Reposado
½ part Grand Marnier or Cointreau
½ oz. Agave nectar
½ part lime juice
½ part lemon juice
1 slice of jalapeno only shake

Combine all the ingredients with ice shake and serve over the rocks. Garnish with lime wedge.


CAZADORES HIGHLAND MARGARITA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

2 oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
½ oz. St-Germain
½ oz. Agave syrup
3 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz. Fresh lime juice
Pinch of salt

In a mixing glass combine all the ingredients with ice, shake and serve over the rocks. Salt optional.


CAZADORES SPICY MARGARITA
Crafted by Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador, Manny Hinojosa

1 ½ Part. Cazadores Reposado
½ part Grand Marnier or Cointreau
½ oz. Agave nectar
½ part lime juice
½ part lemon juice
1 slice of jalapeno only shake

Combine all the ingredients with ice shake and serve over the rocks. Garnish with lime wedge.
