Cg Burgers Starts Sizzling – May 17, 2011

Palm Beach Garden’s Favorite Burger Debuts in Kendall

All-natural, antibiotic-free, humanely-raised beef fresh off Niman’s Ranch anyone? You no longer have to travel far and wide to Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter to sink your teeth into some of the juiciest burgers in Florida. Starting Tuesday, May 17, 2011, CG Burgers will call The Palms at Town & Country in Kendall their first Miami-Dade County home. And to celebrate the opening of its first Miami-Dade location, CG Burgers will be offering free burgers to all from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on opening day (one burger per person).

The brainchild of successful restaurateur Carmine Giardini and the third location for the concept, CG Burgers is sure to please even the pickiest of burger aficionados with reasonably-priced mouth-watering burgers made from premium, never frozen, grass-fed beef, including Niman’s Ranch and Kobe as well as lamb, bison and turkey.

Burgerholics looking for a casual night out, take out or a scrumptious lunch can enjoy themed options, ranging in price from $3.95 to $7.50, such as the single or double stacked CG Burgers; the Pub Burger made with six mouthwatering ounces of beef; the Cuban Burger with smoked ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard; Napa Valley Burger topped with goat cheese, arugula and balsamic honey mustard; the Philly Cheese Burger with peppers, onions and melted white American cheese; and the South Beach Burger, a topless burger wrapped in lettuce, sans bun. Toppings range from traditional lettuce, tomato and onion to more exciting choices such as sauerkraut, tzatziki sauce, chipotle sauce, sweet peppers, mushrooms and more. Cheeses on offer include cheddar, Swiss, American and Provolone. Tasty sides –sold a la carte ($2.50-$4.50) – include irresistible hand-cut French fries, signature zucchini fries with ranch dressing and battered onion rings paired with a chipotle sauce.

Those looking for an alternative to burgers can opt for fire-roasted wings prepared either “original style”, marinated in extra-virgin olive oil with garlic, herbs, crushed red pepper and served with fire roasted onions or “Buffalo style,” tossed in medium or hot sauce served with blue cheese and celery sticks; 10 wings for $8 or 20 for $14. Also available, Filet Mignon Steak Sub sandwich ($7), an all-natural beef hot dog ($3.25), chicken breast sandwich ($6) and the grilled cheese sandwich ($3.50).

Veggie lovers fear not: CG Burgers also offers a fresh salad bar with side ($3.95), single trip ($6.95) and all you can eat ($9.95) options as well as a delicious All Natural Veggie Burger ($5). Guests looking to satisfy their sweet tooth can indulge in a gelato malted ($4.50) or regular milkshakes ($5) in vanilla bean, dark chocolate, strawberry and banana flavors. Thirst quenchers include fountain drinks, iced tea, bottled water, draft, domestic and imported beer and Carmine’s red and white wines.

The family-friendly joints’ retro-rustic design, put together by restaurant designer extraordinaire Karen Hanlon of YOLO and Big City Tavern fame, encompasses floors made from reclaimed fencing, a ceiling with recycled vents for chandeliers and a combination of colorful communal and individual seating options.
