Now in its second year, Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge on South Beach has added a daily lunch menu to its choices for authentic Italian cuisine in the lavish, fashion-inspired dining room or outside on the Ocean Drive veranda.
Chef Stefano Mazzi prepares authentic Italian cuisine for regular dinner service, and has now added daily lunch, complete with light fair and fresh, beach-body ready items including Carpaccio, Grilled Octopus, Heirloom Tomato Salad and Grilled Salmon with mixed greens, Cavalli lunch also features house-made Panini’s and entrees including Short Rib Ravioli and Grilled Skirt Steaks.
To ensure Cavalli enjoys a second year, and lifetime, of success, they have established a powerhouse team of industry veterans to invigorate both the restaurant and the lounge. General Manager, Lucio Zanon, will be recognizable to guests from his long-time stint at Miami’s Casa Tua. Heading up the events and private dining efforts is Amy Noel Oman who helped establish Baoli as a sought-after hotspot. Overseeing operations is Nicolas Clichy Coeur De Roy, Managing Partner, who began his career in Ibiza and honed his skills at Miami hotspots Shore Club, Delano, Setai, Grass, Table 8 and Vita. Wine expert and connoisseur Diego Rech serves as the sommelier. The lavish design was a collaboration of Roberto Cavalli and Italian-based architect, Italo Rota.
Upstairs at Cavalli is a sleek and stylish lounge perfect for after-dinner hand-crafted cocktails, bottle service and a sophisticated alternative to traditional South Beach nightlife. Even the floors are signed with the fashion mogul’s name, made from the finest Italian marble found only in Italy’s Massa Carrara caves. The restaurant’s outdoor terrace, the largest of any Miami Beach eatery, transports guests to a true Italian getaway where street-side cafes, sipping espresso, and of course, Cavalli fashion are part of every day.
