Brava restaurant is located in the Ziff Ballet Opera House

Brava restaurant is a beautiful new addition the Miami scene will include all locally sourced food with the farm to table concept. The menu will be prefixed to ensure prompt service. The set menu is a reasonable choice with options of fish, chicken, beef, and vegetarian. The restaurant will only be open the days of performances with two seating to accommodate guests.

Located in the upstairs, the dining room is large overlooking the Adriane Arsh Center.  All orders are taken using an Ipad to ensure the food arrives promptly. Upon sitting down a chef’s gift tapas plate was presented which included Serrano ham, chorizo sausage, artichoke, manchego cheese, drunken goat cheese and Spanish olives. This was perfect way to start the meal.

For the first course we tried the fresh vibrant colored avocado and tomato salad, dressed with onion, cilantro and cumin vinaigrette. The dish was simple, but very tasty. For the main course we tried the grilled filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus, and a demi glaze.  We also shared pan seared yellowtail snapper with mango salsa, greens, and saffron rice.

In true Miami fashion, the service was a bit over the top, but attentive. This is extremely important for the preshow clientele they will be serving.  To end the meal we enjoyed a lovely array of classic desserts served shooter style. We tried the cream brulee and strawberry cheesecake, which were both done well.

Over all it was beautiful evening. Brava restaurant is wonderful option for preshow dining in Miami.
