MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (July 2012) – Lucky Strike Miami, the famed “bowling-optional” entertainment venue, opened its doors in 2005 as America’s first bowling lounge. Created by veteran restaurant and entertainment entrepreneurs Steven and Gillian Foster and Kevin Troy, Lucky Strike was inspired by the founders’ desire to bring people together in a high-energy, fashionable environment. The first location opened in 2003 in Hollywood, Calif. To date, there are 20 locations across the United States and Canada.
An epicenter for entertainment, Lucky Strike Miami offers patrons dining and nightlife in addition to 14 state-of-the-art bowling lanes. The 18,000-square-foot venue houses two billiards tables, 15 big screens, a complete cocktail and cuisine menu, and a chic lounge with plush roundtable seating. The combination of Lucky Strike Miami’s warm tones, leather sofas, original artwork and intimate bar creates a dramatic yet inviting atmosphere that entices patrons to return.
Enhancing the bowling lounge experience is an extensive selection of gourmet eats created by celebrated Executive Chef Bill Starbuck, who has worked with Lucky Strike since its inception. A highly acclaimed chef, Starbuck has planned and executed menus for Hollywood’s A-list movie premiere parties, awards nights (including the Grammys and Emmys), and celebrity weddings for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston as well as Barbra Streisand.
At Lucky Strike, Starbuck has given a modern twist to American classics. The unique menu selections include: Mac & Cheese Bites, deep-fried macaroni and cheese served with a homemade tomato sauce; Grilled Apple & Brie Quesadilla, soft brie and grilled apples in a toasted tortilla, topped with mustard-maple syrup and smoky bacon bits; Grilled Cheese Sliders, toasted French bread, cheddar cheese, roasted tomato slices and fresh jalapeno aioli; Salmon Mini Burger, pepper encrusted salmon filet, wasabi aioli and cucumber; Chicken Pot Pie, Yukon mashed potatoes, puff pastry ring, grilled chicken, herb reduction and pickled carrot ribbons; Arugula & Prosciutto Gourmet Pizza, fresh mozzeralla, roasted cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, creamy garlic sauce and balsamic vinaigrette; and Parmesan Bread Pudding, brioche, sweet onion, parmesan and ricotta cheese.
