MIAMI, FL. (November 21, 2016) – The Bon Vivants and The Daily Beast, in partnership with Imbibe and USGB National Charity Foundation, are pleased to announce the third annual Swig n’ Swine Art Basel Miami Beach. The charitable event series that combines philanthropy, community, pork and punch will come to the international art show for the third time, expanding upon existing events in New York, New Orleans, Portland, Austin, and San Francisco. The Bon Vivants, co-founded by Josh Harris and Scott Baird, are the nationally recognized hospitality, design and creative group behind the acclaimed San Francisco bar Trick Dog.

On Sunday, December 4th, from 2 pm to 7 pm, art aficionados, bartenders, culinary stars and creative industry professionals from around the world will converge at The Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami (2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach) for a celebration of community, camaraderie and giving back. Admission to Swig n’ Swine Art Basel is $40 per person and 100% of proceeds are donated to charity – tickets can be purchased here. New this year, The Bon Vivants are excited to announce a collaboration with Hip Hop Don't Stop - Miami Art Basel Edition featuring artwork from Joseph Klingenberg. Hip Hop Don't Stop is Berlin's longest-running monthly hip hop culture and event series, which has included international hip hop veterans such as DJ Premier, Grandmaster Flash, RZA (of Wu-Tang Clan) Talib Kweli, DJ Tony Touch, Timbaland, DJ Wordy (DMC Champion / China), Bobbito Garcia (NYC), Stretch Armstrong (NYC), DJ Tom Laroc (Miami) & more. Music at this year's event will be provided by local artists DJ Tom Laroc and DJ San Garbriel, alongside L.A.'s DJ Dave Fernie, New York City’s Nickodemus and special guests.

DJs will spin all afternoon and provide a soundtrack to the gallons of punch and all-you-can eat feast of pork-centric dishes. Eight barrels of punch, with ingredients provided by several event sponsors, will flow freely throughout the afternoon. An all-star roster of culinary talent will prepare the Swig n’ Swine menu, including The Bon Vivants’ Founding Partner Scott Baird and local chefs Dale Talde of TALDE Miami Beach, Halid Quiroz of Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. and Orsenis Perez of The Anderson.

Swig n’ Swine, sister event to Tales of the Cocktails’ Pig & Punch, is a charity barbecue that supplies attendees with generous portions of meat, sides and desserts prepared by an impressive roster of participating chefs. Punch is scooped from barrels, with live music to entertain partygoers. A $40 ticket purchased at the door will get attendees all the swine they can eat and all the punch they can swig, as well as a limited edition Swig n’ Swine T-shirt designed by artist Joseph Klingenberg, while supplies last. Klingenberg will also be exhibiting his art onsite throughout the event. Additional Swig n' Swine merchandise will be available for purchase.

All proceeds and additional donations from sales will be donated to Miami’s Overtown Youth Center, whose mission is to engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their physical, cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development. At each Swig n’ Swine event, The Bon Vivants also organize a volunteer day, open to all, for the donation recipient. This year’s volunteer day will take place on Wednesday, November 30th, at the Overtown Youth Center. Volunteers can sign up to participate via this link, with full volunteer day details available here. Under the direction of The Bon Vivants’ co-founders Josh Harris and Scott Baird, the event series has raised over $320,000 in New York, New Orleans, Portland, Austin, Miami, and San Francisco and has coordinated 8,500 cumulative man hours of volunteer labor in these cities.

Harris and Baird began Pig & Punch in 2010 during their second trip to New Orleans’ Tales of the Cocktail festival, as a way to throw a party that would both represent the philosophy of The Bon Vivants and bring together the industry. Since its first year, Pig & Punch has expanded to Portland, New York, Brooklyn, Austin, San Francisco and Miami. New Orleans remains the flagship event while others are known as Swig n’ Swine, a Pig & Punch on tour. Punch recipes, created by The Bon Vivants for Swig n’ Swine Art Basel, will be available upon request after the event.

Pig & Punch is generously sponsored by: The Daily Beast, Imbibe, Culinary Agents, USBG National Charity Foundation, Bar Institute, D'ussé Cognac, LEBLON Cachaça, Don Q Rum, Don Julio Tequila, Absolut Vodka, Jameson Black Barrel, Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye, Beefeater Gin, Plymouth Gin, MARTINI & ROSSI, St-Germain, Noilly Prat, Bénédictine, Pernod Absinthe, Luxardo USA, Zwack Unicum, Ancho Reyes, Mandarine Napoléon, Cynar, Champagne Perrier-Jouët, Campari America, Kobrand Wine and Spirits Fonseca, Siroco and Croft Ports, Fernet Branca, Carpano Antica Formula, The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley, Jarritos, Tin Roof Brewing Company, Bittermens, Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn Brewing
