Bodegas Villavid - Wines Of Spain At The Versace Mansion

Bodegas Villavid was founded as "Duke Nombre de Jesus, Soc. Coop, of C-LM" i Belonging to the appellation of Manchuela, currently this company consists of more than 600 members who cultivate 4700 acres of vineyards. The Quality and personality of our wines is determined by using the native grape variety of the region (BOBAL] in most of their wines.

There are more than 2700 acres planted with this variety, which represents more than 70% of the surface area of the vineyards of our winery. Bobal grapes produce excellent rose wines and get better each day with age. The high Quality of the grapes, and the wines produced from them have been given considerable recognition among experts and wine lovers in recent years. Also we have a new line that we have created for women and the younger consumer, using our natural semi-sweet wines of Bobal.

Since May 2008, we have operated at our facilities a vine and olive interpretation center, located in the same premise of the old mill, a museum where we show the process of making wine and olive oil, with a permanent exhibition with items from the ancient cellar.

In conclusion, we offer our guests a journey into the past of viticulture and olive oil production and, in turn, a sample of our emblematic products development.
