BLT Prime Chef de Cuisine Dustin Ward


On Thursday, June 25, 2015, two of the world’s most iconic wine and spirits will serve as  accompaniments  to an exclusive menu prepared by BLT Prime Chef de Cuisine Dustin Ward.  A reception, followed by a five course sit down dinner will be paired with wines from the renowned portfolio of Cakebread Cellars, one of Napa Valley’s most successful and beloved wineries.  Dessert will be served with the one and only Macallan 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky, Macallan 25, on the veranda overlooking the world-famous Blue Monster golf course complete with hand-rolled cigars.  Dinner is offered at $125 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and will be served in the restaurant’s private dining room.  Reservations are limited and tickets can be purchased at

Cakebread Cellars, established in 1973 on 22 acres in Napa Valley is known for its exceptional wines and gracious hospitality.  Their world-class sauvignon blancs and chardonnays first established the family business’ reputation but their list today includes award-winning cabernet sauvignons, pinot noirs and other varietals as well.  Macallan, one of the world’s top-selling single malt whiskys is located in Craigellachie Moray in the Scottish Highlands.

The evening gets underway at 7PM with a reception of passed hors d’oeuvres including scallop crudo, chilled corn soup shooters and goat cheese stuffed piquillo peppers, accompanied by Cakebread Cellars 2013 Sauvignon Blanc.  Guests will then be seated for a delicious five course menu including:

Braised Octopus

tangerine oil, fresno chilies

Sullivan Spiced Duck Breast

sautéed  spinach, dehydrated honeycombs
Cakebread Cellars 2013 Pinot Noir

Lamb Breast

Pickled red peppers, chimichurri

The fifth and final course, a sticky toffee pudding with whisky anglaise and dates will be served with tumblers of Macallan 25.  Guests will have the option to take dessert on the restaurant’s terrace, to enjoy with cigars provided by an onsite roller.

This is the second installment of BLT Prime’s 2015 Wine and Spirits Dinner Series.  Next up on Thursday, August 20th, BLT Prime will host a very special evening featuring a cocktail demo and tasting from premium tequilier Casa Dragones along with dinner paired with wines from Vins de Provence.
