Grab your coats Game of Thrones fans, winter is finally here. The show’s seventh season premieres on HBO Sunday, July 16. In anticipation for the return of the series – and perhaps The Night’s King and his army of White Walkers – Wynwood’s hip eatery, Beaker & Gray will be showcasing Game of Thrones-inspired dishes all week long during dinner service. From Monday, July 10 to Sunday, July 16, diners can feast on a menu fit for a mad king or a khaleesi.
Savor fare from the Iron Islands with the Greyjoy Sausage ($13) – served with peas and onions, dragon roasted potatoes topped with rosemary and Winterfell Ale; and finish with the Dragon's Blood Panna Cotta ($11) – raspberry, keylime, and white chocolate, sure to please even the fieriest of Targaryens.
As loyal enthusiasts “drink and know things,” the lineup of libations coming from outside of the realm will feature the North of The Wall ($11) – offering Żubrówka bison grass vodka, berry-pine nut cordial, and milk of the poppy; and the Castle Black ($11) – including Kraken spiced rum, black orgeat, allspice dram, and sombrero chocolate stout; a proper northern drink for the night’s final watch.
