The 50 Eggs Guest Chef Series delivers one-of-a-kind culinary collaborations, featuring acclaimed talents from within the industry, ranging from haute, up-and-coming Miami-based trendsetters to nationally renowned gourmet celebrities.
50 Eggs continues the series on Friday, May 16 when Yardbird – Southern Table & Bar hosts guest Chef Michael Laukert of Hundred Acre Wine Group, for a one-night-only, midnight dinner collaboration. Laukert, bringing over 25 years of experience, is a chef and specialty food consultant, as well as editor and author of One True Vine: A Journal of Food, Wine, Life. Since graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1991, he made the Napa Valley home and began to establish his culinary foundation at Tra Vigne restaurant.
Chef Laukert and 50 Eggs Culinary Director Clayton Miller will serve a fabulous four-course dinner paired with three of Hundred Acre’s award-winning wines: Layer Cake Chardonnay; Layer Cake Cabernet Sauvignon and Cherry Tart Pinot Noir. The meal will also feature an exclusive preview of The Duke – a bourbon based on John Wayne’s 40 year-old recipe.
