The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival returns in 2017 to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. In its 16th year the Festival has raised more than $24 million to date for the Wine Spectator Restaurant Management Laboratory and Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center at the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management located on Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay campus.
Media interested in covering the Festival must submit their registration form via http://media.sobefest.com. Please make sure to select Florida/Hispanic Media to register with Brustman Carrino Public Relations. You must complete all applicable fields of the registration form and select the events you would like to cover under the “Select Events” section. Each media representative interested in covering the Festival needs to submit a press registration request through the online form. If you are attending with a crew or photographer, each member of the team must complete their own form.
Press registration for the 2017 Festival closes on Friday, February 3, 2017. Credentials/Tickets are granted based on a combination of the following criteria: confirmation of coverage, availability, as well as advance publicity for the 2017 Festival.
All applicants will be notified of accreditation status starting Friday, February 10, 2017.
Confirmation will be sent electronically, and it is the responsibility of the applicant to follow up with the press office to ensure they receive information regarding their status. Due to limited capacities, not all specific event requests can be accommodated. Media passes are confirmed in advance and are NOT available on-site. The Festival does NOT coordinate RSVP lists at the door.
