Guests and locals are invited to let loose at Watr on the rooftop of the 1 Hotel South Beach with Funk Shui, the art of getting down on Thursday, July 20th. Funk Shui is open to anyone in the community that wants to come celebrate the 70’s and 80’s.
The rooftop at 1 Hotel will be transformed into the ideal party for fans of the rubic’s cube, see-through phones and pac-man. The event features DJ Jazzy Jeff. Guests will be able to get up close and personal to the American hip hop and R&B disc jockey, who most recently performed the scratch overdubs for the film Straight Outta Compton. Guests will feel the contagious ambience full of funk and soul hits from the 70’s to present day. The party will also feature popup vendors and a throwback atmosphere with nostalgic references to the late 70’s and early 80’s.
