BETTER DAYS OPENS ITS DOORS THIS WEEK WITH A HYPER-CHILL LOUNGE AND INTELLIGENT, BUT EASY GOING BAR ENVIRONMENT THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS!

Better Days Brickell’s first ever Pop-Up Bar will officially open its doors on Friday, August 8, 2014. Open 7 days a week from 5 pm to 5 am, the bar is located in a Thrift Shop within the 500 Brickell Building. Not to be confused with a speakeasy, its incognito location is basically a subtle-deterrent or qualifier for guests who are “in the know.” It is the spot where models and misfits and high class sophisticates can all vibe in the same room.

When asked why Owner Challo Schott wanted to open a bar in Miami, his response was, “Miami is at the forefront of culture, arts, music, and cool and there’s no better place to try to drive a stake into than the epicenter of it all.” Better Days was built upon a classic foundation and back-to-basics bar model coupled with eclectic throwback sensibilities. It offers a witty and nostalgic American blue collar aesthetic and a revolving menu of craft cocktails and beers, promising to offer, “fine drinks at fair prices.”

Schott says, “The concept of Better Days was inspired by an image I had collected about a man in various stages of his life and the happiness he’d shared in those four images with friends and family. Many folks tend to hold on to the past as their best days while also looking to the future for more, when some of our better days are the ones we are living now.”

Tying themselves in with the residents of Brickell, Better Days offers great resident discounts for the 500 Brickell Building, includeing: Happy Hour specials Monday-Friday with 50% off well, call, drafts and wines; a Weekly Industry night on (Insert Night) for (Service, Salon, and Retail workers) with 50% off the entire tab, they will also receive regular discounts at 30% off.

Better Days pays homage to Miami’s diversity by naming its two signature cocktails, The Michelada and The Paloma, better known as “day changers”, which include (Insert what these cocktails are made up of and what makes them unique

The décor in Better Days includes a collision of vintage materials where Schott has created oversized lounge booths from reconfigured and reassembled furniture which line the perimeter of the bar along with a few TVs. Pool tables sit front and center to the entrance, and a DJ booth and stage are on the east for live music and Dj sets.
