WHAT: After a very successful few months since their opening, Baru Latin Bar in Kendall is ready to officially celebrate at their Grand Opening on Thursday, July 20th — which also marks the day of Colombian independence — at 6pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony! The third Baru Latin Bar expansion will be offering guests Happy Hour prices with half off well drinks till 12am and free Aguardiente shots for all until 10pm. Baru Kendall will of course be playing everyone’s favorite Latin beats, along with a special live Vallenato performance.
WHO: Baru Kendall similarly resembles the Brickell and Doral locations, all owned by hospitality veteran Hector Antunez, but is the biggest and best space yet with three massive bars, two outdoor terraces with a lake-side view, a cocktail “ventanita” and more! The cocktail menu is also new and improved, all being curated by the award-winning group of bartenders, the Cocktail Cooperative. The spot has been a hit since its opening on March 16, and keeps the crowds rolling in with events almost every night of the week including Happy Hour all week, Reggae Night on Wednesdays, and “Mi Novio Is Out of Town” Ladies Night on Thursdays.
