Candy Cap Mushroom Flan  – Chef Michael Beltran’s Candy Cap Flan took Miami by a storm when it was first introduced at Coconut Grove eatery Ariete. Made with lightly toasted candy cap mushrooms that are added to the custard base, these earthy mushrooms give the dessert a sweet maple aroma. The flan is served with a sambuca crema and topped with coffee crumble. Ariete is located at 3540 Main Highway in Coconut Grove. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
