Terms and Conditions

It is your responsibility to read and understand all of the terms and conditions. Once you purchase tickets, made a deposit or paid directly with PayPal for private groups, you have read and agree to the following binding policies:

  • By participating on the tours conducted by Miami Culinary Tours, I read and understood the Company’s Waiver and Release of Claims
  • Cancellation Policy: All tickets sold are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged or rescheduled. No refunds are granted.
  • Checking in: During automated purchase process with Eventbrite booking system, you must review all booking details. We check in attendees with A) Hand the printed copy of your ticket to tour guide, or B) Give the first and last name of the person who booked the tickets to your guide.
  • Arriving late: Please note that tour guides are not allowed to wait for guests arriving late. Please make sure to make the necessary arrangements to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the tour. We are on a schedule with all the venues we visit. Also note that we are not able to take your phone calls if you are running last as we are not allow to interrupt the tour guide once the tour started.
  • Weather Conditions: We conduct tours rain or shine. You are advised to carry an umbrella and dress appropriately for weather conditions. If the tour started, and in the event of severe lightning, your tour guide will suspend the tour at his/her discretion. If suspended tour happens, you will be reimbursed for partial or full price of ticket depending on the time the tour was suspended. If the tour is suspended at the beginning of the tour, you will receive full payment. If tour guide did not suspend the tour (as we tour rain or shine) but you do not want to continue with the tour, you will not get reimbursed for the ticket price. You are responsible for yourself and your own safety.
  • Miami Culinary Tours’ Cancellation: Once in a while we are forced to cancel our food tours as we depend on third parties to accommodate our guests. If we need to cancel a tour, full ticket price will be refunded back your account.
  • Dietary restrictions. We can accommodate food restrictions and be happy to change the menu for vegetarians, please let us know in advance.
  • Miami Culinary Tours is not responsible for the foods or beverages consumed on its tours.  Miami Culinary Tours acts solely as agent in arranging tours, transportation, venue visits and other services and does not assume liability for accidents, delays, injuries, loss or damage due to any act or default of any company, organization or person engaged in transporting passengers, rendering service, or carrying out arrangements for any tour or by the act of default of any restaurant or shop or its employees. Please refer to Waiver of Liability that you must accept during the ticket purchasing process.
  • Right to Distribute Media: You agree to grant the Company an irrevocable royalty-free worldwide license to use photos and videos taken on its food tours in which you may appear. The Company has the right to reproduce, distribute, broadcast, exhibit, edit, digitize or in any other way use the Material by any means and in any form of media, whether existing now or created later, without restriction worldwide, by incorporating the Material into its website, catalogs, books, brochures, magazines or any other publications, or any informational, commercial, promotional or advertising material (henceforth known collectively as the “Works”). You agree that the company is and shall be the exclusive owner of all title, rights and interest in the Material and the Works, including copyright thereof.

Private Groups

Booking Information

  • “Hold the day” A $300 deposit is required to hold a date for a private tour. The $300 will be deducted of you final bill. Full payment is due two weeks prior to tour date. Miami Culinary Tours will send a payment reminder.

A 15% gratuity will be added to your bill for private parties of 6 people and larger.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any cancellation must be made in writing by mail or email and acknowledged by Miami Culinary Tours.
    • Cancellation 60 days or more before tour date: Full Deposit Refund.
    • Cancellation 59 to 15 days before tour date: 50% Deposit Refund.
    • Cancellation less than 14 days before tour date: No Deposit refund. If full payment has been issued, Miami Culinary Tours will try to fill out the spaces (re sell tickets) if spaces are not filled up, Miami Culinary Tours will return half payment of the your full payment. 

    Please Read The Following Important Information:

    • We are not able to guarantee space availability for additional people after you made a booking with a specific number of people as we depend on third party venues. If we get at least 10 days notice we will work on the logistics to see if we can add additional people to each of the restaurants/food stops we include on the tour.
    • After you booked the spaces, no refunds are granted if not everyone attended the tour as spaces are guaranteed with each of the venues involved.  All foods are pre-paid and pre-arranged.
    • We need to know of any food restrictions at the time you are booking so that we have the needed time to work on the logistics.
    • Reservations are only confirmed when deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledge by Miami Culinary Tours.
