“A SOBE Guided Art Deco Walking Food Tour”

A guided historical, cultural and architectural tour (on foot) of South Beach’s most iconic Art Deco properties. With its festive curves and sunburst motifs, Art Deco architecture seems like it was tailor-made for South Beach, where the style is alive and well — and with pastel colorations thrown in for good measure. In South Beach, Art Deco immediately conjures up images of glamour, of sun-filled vacations, of days spent cruising Ocean Drive in a vintage Chrysler convertible. Our South Beach Walking Food Tour is all that minus the Chrysler. Along the way, participants can take in the Art Deco architecture that permeates South Beach and learn about the preservation efforts that have made the style such an iconic part of the city.

At the South Beach Food Tour we’ll take you to places that craft some of Miami Beach’s tastiest bites

Get to learn the cultural background and ingredients of each mouth-watering bite we’ll be tasting. This tour is a “melting pot of cultures” and we’ll be sitting down at some restaurants – and savor different bites standing and on the go:

  • Taste of Colombian cuisine, at a restaurant named ”Best Colombien food in Miami” by the Sun Post.
  • Savor Argentina, taste and learn to appreciate the magic of its wine.
  • Floribbean cuisine, your grandma probably made this dish, but now you’ll taste it from a talented chef.
  • Everyday Cuban, we will not let you go without trying a Cuban classic at a true Cuban Institution.
  • Gourmet Italian, indulge in a rare type of Italian pasta the way it supposed to be cooked- with a homemade fragrant sauce of savory herbs and spices.
  • South Floridians run on…we will sample the best coladita in town.
  • The Incas gave chocolate only to royalty, we’ll have this cover for you.
  • The grand tasting finale, we’ll tell you all about it at the tour.
